National Highway System (NHS) Route events depict the FHWA approved National Highway System for Washington State Highways as reported in the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS). For this update, all approved NHS routes for calendar year (See note below and LastUpdate field) are included. NOTE: Starting with this update, a field was added (LastUpdate) and populated with the date the data was last updated. Reference to this field will be used throughout the metadata, instead of actually filling out date fields, in an effort to streamline the updating of metadata as part of automating the publication of updated datasets.
