snippet: In 1991, the Washington State Legislature, working with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), organized and implemented a fish passage inventory on Washington State highways. The purpose of the inventory is to document fish passage problems located at state highway stream crossings and to prioritize the correction of these fish passage barriers. The data are also used to track where inventory efforts have occurred. This GIS layer shows WSDOT fish passage barrier culverts subject to the federal court injunction that have been corrected since 2013. This dataset is updated once annually.
