description: Habitat Connectivity Support Structures provides spatial information on 1) structures that support wildlife’s safe passage across state highways and 2) priority areas for wildlife passage solutions to be considered in future projects. Habitat connectivity structures are bridges, culverts, wildlife barrier fencing, jumpouts, ramps, and wildlife guards that are providing safe passage to wildlife (whether or not that use was intentional). Habitat Connectivity Investment Priorities identify state highway segments with the best opportunities for habitat connectivity (and wildlife-related safety) improvement potential in order to guide Corridor Planning, Environmental Retrofit project identification, and Safety and Mobility projects. The service is maintained by the WSDOT GIS and Roadway Data Office. If you have questions about the Habitat Connectivity Support Structures data, please email Kelly McAllister at mcallke@wsdot.wa.gov. If you are having trouble viewing this service, please contact our Online Map Support at onlinemapsupport@wsdot.wa.gov.
