View In:   ArcGIS JavaScript   WSDOT ArcGIS Online map viewer   ArcGIS Earth   ArcGIS Pro

Service Description: This data provides local experts evaluation of an airport, ferry terminal, railroad, facility, and state route's vulnerability to extreme weather events and other potential climate change impacts. It is primarily intended for use in transportation planning to ensure that consideration is given for protecting and minimizing damage from such events or conditions. These evaluations were developed in local workshops around the state and they assumed the best available climate change impact information in 2011. This information was developed for WSDOT’s use in identifying climate change vulnerabilities of the state transportation facilities. The workshop data provided here represents a risk assessment based on opinion and expertise of WSDOT staff specific to this exercise. Ground conditions and climate change scenarios will change over time, thus users should validate the implications of this data against the current best available information. This service is maintained by the WSDOT Transportation Data and GIS Office. If you are having trouble viewing the service, please contact our Online Map Support at onlinemapsupport@wsdot.wa.gov.
